The airport is connected to the nearby railway stations of Venice-Santa Lucia and Mestre-Venice by scheduled bus services, as well to reach Venice-Piazzale Roma square from the Marco Polo airport, and viceversa.
To reach Venice by car with the following motorway and road connections, is really easy: A4 from Trieste and from Turin, A27 from Belluno, A13 from Bologna, and the state roads SS.309 Romea from the Adriatic Coast, SS.14 from Trieste, SS.13 from Treviso, SS.11 from Padua.
Once you have arrived near the lagoon, get on to the Ponte della Libertà - a long straight line with two lanes linking Venice to the mainland -follow the signs for Venice and you will arrive at Piazzale Roma. Here you have to leave your car and start your adventure in Venice, on foot or by waterbus.
There are three parking areas at Piazzle Roma: the Autorimessa Comunale, the Garage S.Marco and the small open air car park S.Andrea.
1,00 € - SINGLE FARE WATERBORNE SERVICES: Allows travel on all water services (except those of Alilaguna, Clodia and Fusina) for 60 minutes from stamping, with transport means change allowed in the same direction. It does not include the return journey.
1,50 € - TICKET FOR LAND+WATER: The ticket allows travel along a mixed route (land and water). It is valid for 90 minutes from stamping but is not valid for return journeys, not even if made during time of its validity. Interchange is allowed.
TOURIST TRAVEL CARDS
The Travel Cards are the most economical solution for people who want to get around Venice and its surroundings on Actv’s land and water services. They allow unlimited travel and can be used on all the services - both waterborne (except those of Alilaguna, Clodia, Fusina) and on land - that provide urban services within the municipality ("Comune") of Venice (land services on the Lido and in Mestre).
Included in the price is the transport of one luggage item of up to 150 cm as the sum of its three dimensions.
This card can be purchased from the Hellovenezia ticket desks and the authorized resellers.
They allow tourist coaches arriving at Venice main island to benefit from the ordinary "ZTL" (Limited Traffic Zone) tariff with ACTV public transport. (information: Hellovenezia call center +39 041 24.24).
THREE-DAYS YOUTH CARD
Allows unlimited travel and can be used on all the services - both waterborne (except those of Alilaguna, Clodia, Fusina) and on land - that provide urban services within the municipality ("Comune" of Venice (land services on the Lido and in Mestre). The ticket is valid for 72 hours from stamping. It can be bought by young people aged between 14 and 29 by showing the Rolling Venice Card, on sale at the Hellovenezia ticket desks for € 4.00.

The discount booklet contains 10 ordinary tickets. Please note that tickets from the booklet are only valid if accompanied with their "matrice" or stub (the last ticket of the booklet). They last for 60’, like the ordinary tickets. It can be purchased from the Hellovenezia ticket desks and the authorized resellers.
CONFERENCE CARD
Reserved for those taking part in meetings and conferences. It is personal and must be backed up by an identity document. It is valid on waterborne and land services of Lido island and mainland Mestre. Validity: 8 days maximum.
