Morelia :
Morelia, a circa 200 miglia a nordovest di Città del Messico, è una delle città coloniali più interessanti del paese. il suo nome originale, Valladolid, fu dato alla città nel 1541 a cause del nome del luogo di nascita in Spagna del Viceré. Dopo la guerra di indipendenza messicana, la città fu rinominata per onorare uno dei più importanti eroi: Jose Maria Morelos. Morelia, una città coloniale dall’atmosfera aristocratica, è ricca di architettura coloniale spagnola: pietra rosa e stile barocco sono ovunque.
